Four properties of the dispersion leveling agent (retouching) 2

3. Achromatic

For dispersing dyes or color-reducing agents, the better the bleaching property is, the better the performance of the auxiliary agent is when achieving good retarding and trans-staining effects. The method of achromatic test is recommended as follows:

1. Experimental materials:

Sample: polyester knitted fabric after preliminary oil treatment 4g

formula:

Leveling agent x g / l

C.I. Dispersed blue 79 # 0.05% (OMF)

pH: 4.5

The ratio of the bath: 1:20

2. Experimental process:

The dye was stained at 40 ° C, heated to 130 ° C for 30 minutes for 30 minutes, and the tissue sample was taken out, washed with water and dried.

3. Evaluation of the results:

Using a test ink (without a leveling agent), a coloring sample as a standard, determine the color intensity and the difference in color DE (also visible) of the coloring sample at various leveling agents (reducing agents) and dosage. The higher the strength, the lower the color rendition, the lower the color rendition.

4. Dispersion

Dispersibility is also one of the necessary conditions for a good dispersing dye. The dispersibility of the leveling agent avoids coagulation of the dye during the dyeing process (usually a dispersing agent will be added during the production of the dispersed dye). sex test method:

1. Experimental materials:

Recipe:

C.I. Accelerate red 167 # 1.0 g / l

Leveling agent x g / l

pH 4.5

Total liquid volume 100 ml

2. Experimental methods:

§

Heat treatment with a coloring fluid: the coloring solution was heated to 130 ° C for 30 minutes and then cooled to 70 ° C at a rate of 2 ° C / min.

§

§

Filtration of liquid dyes: first heat the Buchner funnel with hot water at 70 ° C and dry it with a towel, then fold the medium-quality quality filter paper into a fast-quality filter paper, place it in the funnel, turn on the vacuum pump and dye the liquid at 70 ° C. Drain into the funnel. When the appearance of the filter paper is dried by a wet method, that is, the end point, the filter paper is removed and the upper filter paper is dried and evaluated.

§

3. Evaluation of the results:

Visually check the deposition of the dye on the filter paper. The smaller the coloring point of the dye, the better the dispersion.
